X3LL3N responds:

He better do ! I'm patiently waiting.

Lovely piece you've got here! Glad to see you still going hard and putting out these tunes. Haven't heard much of your new stuff since NGADM. Still shocked that we got Steve Harvey'd. lol. But I really dig this! Hit me right in the feels. A wild Quarl has appeared, so I hit it with this [5/5] pokeball. Well done!

Quarl responds:

Lol, "Steve Harvey'd" a pop culture reference I understood. Also, ouch. That PokeBall hurt
(⊙﹏⊙)

Nice little fun track you've got here! Reminds me of music from the game "Little Big Planet". I dig it!

Snikio responds:

Thank you so much!! Do you mind send me an acapella audio file from <Move>? I want to use it someday for remix.

Uwwwww that's quite a tune you've got here! Nice screams + lows. Very well done. I dig it! Take this 5/5.

TSRBand responds:

Thanks for listening! Happy you like it :)

Cool little tune you've got here! Definitely sounds like something that should be in a video game. Like Sonic, or some sort of 2D platformer. Well done, I dig it!

Razex responds:

Glad you enjoyed it!

That intro synth <3 Solid synthwave tune you've got here. I really enjoyed the sound selection in this track! That stereo panning acid synth is savage. Sidechaining always goes hand-in-hand. Nice little mini triplet scale at the end there. I dig it!

FateModified responds:

Thanks! Omnisphere has some awesome presets. Not that I didn’t make all of my own patches from scratch though… OK I used some of their presets lol. Appreciate your comment! :)

Cool beans. Not sure sure what you used for the lo-fi effect, but it kind of sounds like a HD beat with added noise and some artifacts. The added noise almost sounds louder than the beat itself. Listened on studio monitors and headphones. It could very well be that I'm just hearing it differently than everyone else. I recommend giving Cymatics Origin plugin a try if you haven't already. It's free, and I believe would give this super chill amazing track that true lo-fi feel you're going for. Other than that, it really is a super chill track. I dig it!

ForgottenDawn responds:

Hey, thanks! This was made before discovering "lo-fi hip hop" as an actual thing on the internet and had the proper mastering tools I now have. Back then, I would just call it "90's trip-hop" and still do, to some extent, so I wanted to recreate that sort-of moody, urban atmosphere. I recall Origin, though I now use a chain of tape emulation/degradation software, plus iZotope mastering tools for fine-tuning. There's even production plugins specifically made for the genre, so that gives you an idea of how mature "lo-fi" has gotten as a musical concept.

That's some filthy clean drum work you've got there. I dig it!

triplebarrel responds:

Thanks!!

Quarl responds:
